The Educational Technology Portfolio fulfills the final examination graduation requirement of the University of Missouri - Columbia. The portfolio is an integration of theory and practice demonstrating the candidate's compentency for technology leadeship and facilitation in the schools

The minimum requirements for a candidate's portfolio are:

1. Candidate's Resume
2. Candidate's "Learning Beliefs" essay
   1. using research based references
   2. with visual representation of major concepts
3. Candidate's Program of Study (course work)
   1. for each course, Reflection of what was learned
   2. for each course, an Artifact demonstrating what was learned
   3. for each course, an identification of alignment to ISTE standards
4. ISTE Standard's Compentency
   1. candidate's understanding of each ISTE standard
   2. artifact demonstrating competency of each ISTE standard
5. Publication of the candidate's portfolio to the Internet
