Students are expected to attend all scheduled class sessions (M Book: Rules and Regulations for Students. University of Missouri-Columbia, 1988-89, page 2, Academic Rules and Regulations). Students who miss lectures in Management 202 are fully responsible for the material they miss by being absent from class, which means that you should plan to contact a class mate to get notes on what was said in class.
Students are expected to check the course website several times a week for assignments, announcements and supplemental materials.

If you have special needs as addressed by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and need assistance, please notify the Office of Disability Services, A048 Brady Commons, 882-4696 or course instructor immediately. Reasonable efforts will be made to accommodate your special needs.
Students are expected not to miss the examinations. Students who miss regularly scheduled
examinations for VALID reasons will be allowed to take make-up essay exams. Before any student will be allowed to take a make-up exam, he or she must obtain permission from the course manager. To obtain permission, DOCUMENTATION must be provided (a letter from a physician, judge, etc.). All make-up exams will be essay exams, consisting of approximately eight questions. No regularly scheduled multiple-choice exam will be given to any student before the times published in this syllabus. All make-up essay exams must be completed within 14 days after the date of the regularly scheduled exam that was missed by the student requesting the make-up.
If a student wants to challenge the answer for a particular question, believing that his/her answer is correct or should be given credit for that answer, a WRITTEN explanation must be received by the course manager within two weeks after the test date. For the last and third test, the written
explanation must be received by the END of the final exam period. Only requests that are written and submitted within the required time period will be considered. Unwritten requests or late requests after the allotted time period will NOT be considered.

Academic honesty is fundamental to the activities and principles of a university. All members of the academic community must be confident that each person's work has been responsibly and honorably acquired, developed, and presented. Any effort to gain an advantage not given to all students is dishonest whether or not the effort is successful. The academic community regards academic dishonesty as an extremely serious matter, with serious consequences that range from probation to expulsion. When in doubt about plagiarism, paraphrasing, quoting, or collaboration, consult the course instructor
